FiveChar biochar is a liquid soil amendment and a highly concentrated, 5-micron biochar blended with freshwater-sourced liquid humate (Leonardite). Our ingredients are OMRI Listed, IBI Certified, and USDA BioPreferred, ensuring top-quality organic inputs for soil health. These two components work together to improve soil structure, enhance nutrient availability, and boost plant growth—helping farmers, gardeners, and landscapers reduce water and fertilizer use while achieving healthier, more resilient plants. Our biochar is ideal for sprayers, irrigation systems, fertigation, and hydroponics. Its microscopic size (5 microns) ensures it won’t clog filters and easily infiltrates soil for better microbial activity. APPLICATION RATES Mix with water before applying. Universal minimum dilution rate of 1:32 (1 oz of FiveChar for every 32 ounces of water or 4 oz for every gallon). Agriculture & Gardens: Row Crops: 1–2 gallons per acre Lawn & Garden: 4–6 oz per 1,000 sq. ft. Landscape Plants: 0.5–4 oz per plant Trees: 0.25–0.75 oz per inch of circumference or 1–2 oz per inch DBH Soil Remediation: Double the standard rate for contamination recovery, heavily compacted soils, pet spots, salt damage, and chemical burns. Tank Mixes (Fertilizers, Compost Teas, Nutrients): 1–4 oz per gallon of diluted solution, applied per manufacturer recommendations. Usage Tips: Reduce fertilizers by 15-30%—Liquid Biochar makes nutrients more efficient. Decrease watering frequency—Biochar holds moisture longer in the soil. Apply annually or split into 2-3 applications throughout the season.
